We combine empathy and science to provide the best quality counseling care. Clinicians are Faculty with expertise in their fields, and student practitioners are learning and applying the latest evidence-based approaches.

Based on the information you provide, including availability and counselor preferences, you will be matched with a student counselor who is under supervision by a licensed mental health professional. Establishing a therapeutic relationship of trust is a critical part of the work you will engage in, and as such we will work with you to ensure a good fit with a counselor that can facilitate a therapeutic balance in their work with you. 

Counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Upon scheduling your first appointment, or “intake session” you will meet with a counselor for approximately 1 hour to discuss your history and current counseling needs. Our student clinicians are advanced graduate students who will work with you to explore your goals for counseling and begin the process of developing a plan for your treatment. 

The RMU Counseling Clinic delivers services in person at our clinic in Provo or anywhere in Utah via online services. 

We do offer sliding fee scale services to those with a diverse income circumstances. Talk to your counselor during the intake to find out what options are available to meet your needs.

We are located in Building 3 of the Timpanogos Tech Campus in Provo, Utah.
